Aprilia Brings Italian Performance to The Motorcycle Shows

Aprilia Heads to Canada's The Motorcycle Shows

Aprilia Canada will bring its entire 2018 lineup to all six of Canada's The Motorcycle Shows, which begin with the Calgary event January 5-7, and end in Montreal February 23-25.

Aprilia's display will be highlighted by its newest models — the RSV4, Tuono V4, Dorsoduro 900 and Shiver 900.

Last year, Aprilia updated its superbike lineup, offering the RSV4 RR ABS and the updated RSV4 RF ABS, which arrives with Öhlins suspension and forged wheels, along with Superpole graphics.

Both the RSV4 RR and RF were spoken highly about from the world’s top moto journalist, who tested the bike at Circuit of the Americas, the Texas F1 and MotoGP circuit.

Motorcycle media across the world also provided positive feedback about the revamped Tuono V4 1100, which is available as an RR or Factory, the latter upgraded with Öhlins suspension. The largest updates of the 2018 Tuono lineup were the addition of cornering ABS, a quick shifter with clutchless downshifts, cruise control and a TFT display.

Also creating some increase energy in the world of naked motorcycles was the all-new Dorsoduro 900 and Shiver 900. Both bikes grew from 750 to 900cc for 2017. The 90-degree v-twin now produces 95 horsepower @ 8750 rpm, and 60 ft/lbs of torque @ 4500 rpm.

Aprilia Canada staff will be present to answer any questions about Aprilia’s 2018 lineup.

Events at each of The Motorcycle Shows include Yamaha Riding Academy, She Rides, Hangar 17, and the Ground n' Gravity Show.
